FUNDRAISING
Our Fundraising Methods
Throughout the training year we face the challenge of raising enough to support the squadron’s operating costs. We conduct as many fundraisers as our community can support without creating supporter fatigue.
The cadet program is community-based and it is successful because of the support provided from within the Brampton East community.
- Individual Donors – usually parents or former cadets who regularly donate to the squadron.
- Corporate Sponsors – local businesses who have donated to the squadron. See who they are here.

Service fees 😭
- Via PayPal:

Service fees 😭
- Via Credit or Debit Card:
We can accept tap donations/payments in person at any of our events or training nights.
Service fees 😭 - Monthly League Lottery (min. $5000 prize):
The Air Cadet League operates a monthly 50/50 lottery during the training year. When buying tickets, customers can choose which squadron they’d like to support. This link directs your support to the Brampton East 758 squadron (that’s us):
https://aircadetraffle.5050central.com/?olc=758/
Half of each ticket sold goes into the Winner’s jackpot, and the other half is split between the League and 758 Argus. Therefore, a $10 ticket sale earns $2.50 for the squadron.
Alternative Donations
- Canteen:
We offer a snack table during each training night. We buy pop, chips, chocolates, sour keys, and sometimes samosas and beef/veggie patties. The cadets race to line up and buy their favourites during break time. We would love it if our inventory was sponsored by a friendly community member/business. 😋
- Supplies:
We buy everything from kitchen to office supplies, and while they’re usually low-cost items, they add up over the course of a training year. Consider donating or sponsoring items to our unit – every little thing helps. 😃
- Volunteer:
You can donate your time and skills to the development of the Cadets. We can’t get enough of strong leadership. https://ssc.758argus.ca/volunteer/join-the-ssc/ 😀
Tax receipts are available. 📑
